Profile

Because Trevor is a committed environmentalist, he takes a long view of Life Cycle Analysis. He would rather repair and restore than buy new and therefore does not own a new car – instead he seems to collect old ones. This fits in with environmental principles since his cars are repaired and recycled and when he’s driving one, several sources of pollution are kept off the road!

He has a great interest in Industrial Archaeology, inspired by Angus Buchanan at the University of Bath and is a member of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, founded by William Morris, with a particular interest in the Mills Section of the Society. This led to an appreciation of the Arts & Crafts movement in the UK and of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

His ‘make do and mend’ attitude could be the source of his enthusiasm for Charlton Athletic!
