Trevor TurpinNicholas Pearson Associates – Director

Trevor was with this leading UK Environmental Consultancy from 1986 until 2016. He was appointed a director in 1992 The Company is a Quality Mark Registered Impact Assessor with IEMA as a result of the quality of the EIA work; Trevor has led over 100 of these environmental studies. Clients include UK Water Companies, the Environment Agency, the Highways Agency as well as public and private infrastructure developers. www.npaconsult.co.uk


University of Bath

MSc Integrated Environmental Management. Trevor was the Director of Studies and tutor on EIA for this course and lectured at residential sessions. He also lectured on EIA for the School of Architecture and Engineering.

International Association of Impact Assessment

Effectiveness Study of Environmental Assessment. Trevor led the EIA element of this study under the overall guidance of Barry Sadler.

Infrastructure Planning Commission

Senior Environmental Advisor in 2012 prior to Commission being absorbed into Planning Inspectorate.


Wessex Water Authority

Trevor worked as a Water Quality Officer from the inception of Wessex Water Authority in 1974 until 1984. Based in Bath, his duties included the management of river catchments across Wiltshire, Somerset and Gloucestershire.


Local and Central Government

Employed by the Department of Housing and Local Government, by the Planning Department of Wiltshire County Council and, from 1973, by the Bristol Avon River Authority.
